Protea Mphephu Resort
Mphephu Resort is located at Sendendza Village in Ndzhelele and was established in 1988 by the then Venda Development Corporation during the time Venda was categorised as a homeland created by the apartheid government.
Facilities available are self catering chalets, conference hall, kitchen, bar, shop, and three warm swimming pools linked to the hot springs. There are also children’s play facilities, a soccer field, and a campsite and disco area. The establishment of this resort was to link it with the Dzata Ruins, Lake Fundudzi, sacred forest, the breathing rock, hot springs, Kokwane Footprints and other historical attractions in the region.

Im a student at TSHWANE UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY studying Tourism management.I have been given an assegnment and a research about a environmental impacts in tourism basing my reserch on the nearest tourism resort or parks in my area,can you please send me positive and negative impacts in tourism that mphephu is facing and that it has faced in the past.The positive and negative economic impacts,and the positive and negative socio-cultural impacts in tourism. you should have also provided interesting information like the hot springs in mphephu resort and how they are linked with the volcano in tswime mountain{the mountain within which the resort is located}
