Jumbo River Safaris
Willie started his business in 1995 on a small boat that could only accommodate six people. On a visit to the Victoria Falls, he experienced a river cruise on the Zambezi. This experience encouraged him to build a bigger boat that could accommodate up to fifty people.
A houseboat like this is ideal for game-viewing as the game concentrates on the river bank to come and drink water. Willie runs his safaris on the Olifants River, where game like elephant, hippo, crocodile, impala, buffalo, waterbuck, leopard, klipspringer and baboons can be seen. There are also a variety of different birds to be seen on the banks and waters of the Olifants.
Groups of between five and fourty people can be accommodated on the raft and a cruise normally takes approximately three hours. Departure times are 08:00; 12:00 and 15:30 daily, depending on bookings.

Hi I would like to enquire about booking 3 people for your 12pm boat cruise on Sat 24 April. I will be doing a wedding in Phalaborwa, and looking for something for my 3 teenagers to do while I am busy. What does it cost per person? Where do you depart from? Is it within Phalaborwa? Thanks
