Fouriesburg Country Inn

Fouriesburg Country Inn is a sandstone and oregon pine building established in 1892 and decorated in period style.  Accommodation is in 22 attractive en-suite bedrooms. 

The Inn has a pub and lounge area, as well as a restaurant with authentic country cuisine that should be enjoyed with superb South African wines from the sandstone wine cellar.  The Inn is the tourist’s link to the Drakensberg Mountains via Golden Gate National Park. 

Activities in the area include horse-riding, hiking, trout/bass fishing and scenic drives to historical sites.  Neighbouring towns have art galleries, craft shops, weavers and cherry wine tasting.  The mountain Kingdom of Lesotho is also within reach of the Inn; Fouriesburg is a mere 10km from a border post.  The Inn can arrange tours and adventures trips on request.
