Elim Hlanganani Society for the Care of the Aged

Elim Hlanganani was established in response to a need identified. Terminally ill older persons used to be admitted to the Shangaan ward at Elim Hospital. They were then taken back to the community as the hospital could not provide home care or home nursing.  Sometimes a group of older persons made visits to a geriatric clinic fortnightly.

The Elim Hlanganani Society fills a gap in the community.
