Dinizulu Cottage

Dinizulu Cottage offers two self-catering apartments in a fully furnished house in the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park heritage site area (1km from the entrance to False Bay Park, 13km from Hluhluwe). One apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and living area, as well as a gauze-enclosed veranda with two beds. The other has one bedroom, an en-suite bathroom, kitchen, dining area and a gauze-enclosed veranda with two beds. Interleading doors allow them be used as one unit.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned, and linen, cutlery, crockery and appliances are provided. Outside the cottage is a paved patio with braai (barbecue) facilities. Guests can enjoy walks on the property, horse riding in False Bay Park, game drives, boat cruises, and many more activities nearby.

Comments and Reviews

Place was tranquil and peaceful however the description per the information on the website was misleading. The place is not an "apartment" but rather someone's holiday home that is being let out. The cottage is also on remote farm which needs to be accessed via dirt roads. We did feel abit unsafe on the property. The cottage itself had a very old and rustic feel to it and was surrounded by alot of vegetation. If visiting, stock up on the insect repellent. Also found a scorpion in the bedroom on the last day of our stay. Shower did not work properly and at the best of times had a trickle of hot water. Will only recommend to those who want to experience a very rural and rustic holiday. Definitely not visiting this place again!!!!!
