Black Eagle Ridge

Black Eagle Ridge is situated 4km from Steynsburg on the Molteno Road, with another 4km to the lodge that can only be traversed with a high raised vehicle or 4x4. If you do not own such a vehicle, Glen or Roz would happily assist you with the supply of one of their vehicles.

This lodge was built with old shed material on top of a mountain by Glen and Roz with the help of their farm staff. The lodge boasts with a flush loo situated on the krantz edge, which provides the occupier with a magical panoramic view. Other activities on offer are hunting, wing shooting, game viewing, hiking, 4x4 trails, stargazing, trout fishing and historical sites.  

Black Eagle Ridge offers exceptional bird-viewing for enthusiasts with an array of water birds, finches, kestrels and black eagles nesting close to the lodge.
