Advantage Tours and Charters specialise in personally operated tours, charters and cruises – by the owners, the Bennetts.  Hippos tours, whale-watching, deep sea charters, turtle tours, game drives, wilderness trails, safaris and affordable accommodation can all be arranged through Advantage Tours and Charters. 

The three main adventures are as follows:

• Deep Sea Fishing:  The Advantage Charter is a 32 feet Yeldcat powered by 2 x 250 HP Suzuki’s engines.  All the latest fishing tackle, bait and fish-finding equipment is at the guests disposal, and “the fish you catch are yours to keep”.  The experienced skipper is Danie Bennet, renowned for his dedication and safety first attitude.
• Hippo Tours: Here visitors explore the St Lucia estuary on the Advantage Cruiser – the most luxurious passenger ferry custom built to venture into shallow waters.  Spacious upholstered seats, ample walking room, toilet facilities, a bar and a sundeck for better viewing all ensure a comfortable and exciting tour.  The boat is ideal for tour groups, functions and business weekend getaways.  Captained by Riëtte (the only female DTR skipper and Satour guide!), the trip offers personal service.  The two-hour cruise covers both the south and north of the estuary.
• Whale-watching: Imagine coming face-to-face with the fifth largest animal that has ever lived on earth!  This is quite possible when one takes part in a whale watching tour aboard the Advantage Charter.  The humpback whale is considered to be one of the most playful of all the large whales and is known to be the most aerobatic.  A well-planned tour by Danie Bennett with his experience and skills makes this whale-watching tour an unforgettable and unique lifetime experience as the boat can move as close as 50m from the whales.  This tour is seasonal – June to November.
