Wilde Boots

Wildeboots makes boots, shoes and sandals from African game skins, which are the surplus product of the game farming and hunting industries.

These skins are used to make quality articles for customers looking for truly African products. Wildeboots will happily custom make boots for hunters or other clients who supply us with their own hides. We also produce game skin rugs.

Wildeboots are also available through Hangaboutz Hammocks in the Fort @ Howick Falls and other selected outlets.

Craig describes the business in his own words:

“Our products are made from materials that are uniquely African. The use of these materials will create job opportunities way beyond the levels currently employed directly by tourist establishments, thus hopefully cementing the Game Farming industry’s contribution to work creation at higher levels than at present. For game farming to offer the job creation levels of commercial farming there needs to be more downstream industry utilizing the by products with labour intensive industries.”
