Tshephanang Support Group

This group started in July 2004 and presently have 29 members.  They promote the local cultural activities, make traditional clothing and items like clay cups.  They also promote their natural attractions including the animals in the area (rabbits, buck and baboons) and around the Olifants River.

They are based on a 70ha area next to the Arabie Dam, which is ideal for fishing, swimming and boating.  They use only basic natural fertilizers for example kraal manure, and are planning crops such as wheat, mealies and sunflowers.
