Thabang - Old Age Project

Over 130 elders belong to the Thabang Old Age Project, which was started in 1990 to provide an outlet for their knowledge, experience, energy and creativity. In addition to instilling a sense of pride and self-respect, the project generates income, which is re-invested in the community.

Handwork is the main pastime but several members enjoy outdoor activities such as gardening.
