Sibeso’s Fishing Camp and Lodge

At this stage the camp only has one chalet, but development of six more has commenced. The property is located on the banks of the Zambezi and offers campers green lawns on which to set up camp.

They offer activities like fishing from traditional makoro’s (canoes) and visits to the nearby islands. Eventually they will also have a shop that will stock fishing equipment.

Sibeso is the son of Chief Inyambo Yeta IV and undertook his studies in the US Upon his return, he recognised the need for decent accommodation in Mwandi and decided to start a lodge. Although he completed his degree in Information Technology, he has always been interested in building things and the lodge and camp offered him the opportunity to do this. He also hopes that developing the camp and lodge will help promote the traditions of Mwandi.
