Selimathunzi Restaurant and Pub

Tom describes his business in his own words:

"After many months of research I spotted a niche in the market – to cater for the middle income earners in a venue that will keep them close to their homes.  I wanted to offer a place where they could take visitors, their family or a lover and enjoy some good African food and a drink, as well as having the opportunity to network".

The venue is aimed at taking African-contemporary entertainment to new heights, as well as attracting tourists to experience the township life.  With many years of business and marketing experience, as well as a profound passion for cooking, Tom established the Selimathunzi Restaurant and Pub. 

Food, alcohol and cigarettes are on sale, with a separate smoking section.  The interior design and the bar area are pieces of art, and the colours on the inside as well as the courtesy of the staff makes any visit a memorable one.  The venue is also ideal for corporate clients, and is available for business meetings, birthday parties and other functions.  The restaurant can accommodate sixty people.
