Seithati Weavers

Seithati Weavers was formed in April 1990 as a partnership owned and run by a group of 12 Basotho women.  The quality tapestries, place mats, table runners, rugs, bags, shawls, scarves and other items produced are made from 100% hand-woven mohair that has been spun, washed and dyed, then mothproofed for an exquisite long-lasting finish.

In addition to all the traditional designs on display in the shop, Seithati Weavers will make up orders to the visitor’s specifications.  Items will be custom-made with respect to designs and colours, and then delivered via airmail.
