Raintree Cottage

Raintree Cottage has eight bedrooms, individually and tastefully decorated in Victorian interiors, with private entrances from the veranda. This includes a family room, three double-bed rooms, two twin-bed rooms and two single-bed rooms.

The dining area as well as the rest of the cottage has been furnished with beautiful old Afrikaner furniture.

All the rooms are equipped with colour television, ceiling fans and coffee trays. Each room, individually decorated, is air-conditioned and has an en-suite bathroom. The family room caters for four people with a spacious en-suite bathroom.

You can enjoy a continental or full English breakfast with fresh fruit. The meals are served in the dining room or on the veranda, where guests can enjoy good coffee and a selection of home made bread and preserves.

At Raintree Cottage, you can relax with sundowners after a full and exciting day. With prior arrangement a heart-warming home-cooked meal will be prepared and served.

The following is also offered:

• Braai (barbeque) at the cottage; and
• Picnic baskets for a day out.

Telephone, fax and e-mail services are available at the cottage. For guests that need to stay for a longer period there is also a laundry service available.

Your hosts will be prepared to arrange visits to various attractions within a range of 50km from the cottage. These include mine tours, visits to private game farms and sporting facilities. Close by is the very popular Hans Merensky Golf Estate for golf, squash, swimming and tennis. Visits to the rare white lions of Timbavati, the Lion and Cheetah Breeding projects, the Reptile Park and the Endangered Bird Rehabilitation Centre can also be arranged.
