Owl and Elephant Lodge

The Owl and Elephant has eight en suite rooms, tastefully furnished and equipped with televisions and tea and coffee facilities. The lodge operates on a bed and breakfast basis, but lunch and dinner can be arranged with prior notice.

The lodge is set on a hill overlooking Weenen and is close to the Weenen Game Reserve, which has both black and white rhinoceros. An unusual sight close to the lodge at Illusion Hill is a road that appears to run uphill, but actually doesn’t.

Activities on the property include hiking, fishing (catch and release), picnicking and cycling.
