New Look Arts and Crafts
Samuel started woodcarving at the tender age of four and learned the skill from his father who was a carpenter. He was reluctant to go to school as a boy, but his father encouraged him to go in order to refine his skill. He took woodwork as a subject in school, in which he excelled. He eventually ended-up teaching woodwork at the same school. He also took up ivory carving, which took him approximately ten years to master.
Today he teaches his craft to the young people in the village at the centre that has now been established for ten years.
