Mukondeni Pottery Project

The pottery is made from local clay from the banks of the Tshipise River. The production of big and small traditional Venda pots, traditional serving dishes, flower pots and decorated ornaments are made in a unique and traditional way.

Mukondeni pottery project was started in 1980 to empower women from the area of Mukondeni.
