Mafahlaneng Poultry Project

The Mafahlaneng Poultry Project was established in August 1994 with a sponsorship from the Social Welfare Department.

Today, it owns its own chicken battery but still buys in chicks, which it fattens before selling them to the community. The project’s aims are to grow its market, expand production and employ more people.
