Lusu Mission

The Lusu Misson is a Catholic Mission Station located approximately 35km from Sesheke on the Senanga road. The church has Sunday service at 09:30 conducted in Lozi. It is a lively service with locals singing and dancing to praise the Lord. Apart from the church, the Development Committee within the framework of the Mission is running a number of development projects. The Development Committee consists of representatives of the nearby villages.

Projects include:

• Food supply through a grocery shop;
• A hammer mill;
• Women's club;
• Carpentry workshop;
• Welding and metal work services;
• Home-based care for aids patients;
• A community school; and
• A market.

The Mission has a beautiful camping site alongside the river; with excellent ablution facilities (see Rapids View Community Campsite entry).
