Khoisan City

Katrina Boyes is a descendant from the old stock farming culture, the Namaquas. This is also a strong matriarchal culture, which is displayed in her determination to make a success of her tourism project.

She lives a simple basic life as a single mother two daughters in the small village of Nourivier in the Kamiesberg. She strongly believes in building her dream of being a tourism product owner through hard work and humble beginnings. She will dish up mouth watering traditional food in her cooking shelter, cooked in iron pots on an open fire, which is a rarity these days.
