Jagersfontein Golf Club
Situated on the outskirts of Jagersfontein, the golf course has 9-holes with well-maintained grass greens and grassed fairways. The views of savannah grasslands and far-off hills are wonderful as the course meanders up and down amongst the volcanic rock koppies. There is an abundance of indigenous plant life and wild olive trees – and occasionally one will see a mountain rhebok sheltering behind a tree.
The golf club has a long and interesting history, and celebrated its centenary in 2002. The clubhouse is large and has a pub, restaurant and lapa area – which can be hired out for functions.
Visitors are welcome and corporate functions, coupled to golf games, can be organised. Green fees are reasonable and caddies are available.
