Gunsteling Walletjie

Gunsteling Walletjie is a 4x4 destination. 

Facilities:

• Four bed self-catering unit with no electricity.  Gas appliances and a generator are used for lighting;
• Television is optional – DSTV is available if visitors bring their own sim card;
• Bird-watching;
• Hiking trail;
• Guided 4x4 safaris; and
• Fynbos viewing (guided or unguided).

The history of Gunsteling Walletjie dates back to 1812 and was a family farm. The main building was separated from the original farm homes Misgunst and Walletjies Amex.

The location is a natural mountainous area with fynbos, wildlife, birds and viewpoints overlooking the Langkloof, Tsitsikamma, Kouga and Baviaanskloof Mountains.
