Emzini African Restaurant and Jazz Cafè

Emzini African Restaurant and Jazz Café was opened in 1999 in Berlin. They have built up a sound reputation for authentic African cuisine coupled with the promotion of local jazz artists. They pride themselves on the fact that they promote local artists and empower local women in particular, to provide products and services.

The Southern Sun Group realised the potential of the restaurant and offered them premises at the newly opened Hemingways Casino complex in East London. On 14 December 2001, a second Emzini African Restaurant and Jazz Café was launched.

They also do catering for special events either at the restaurant or at any chosen venue. Their brochure encapsulates what they have to offer: “Experience warmth, acceptance and genuine African hospitality”.
