Dovehouse Organic Farm and Tea Garden

Dovehouse Organic Farm is farmed organically using Permaculture as the growing principle.  No chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides have been used on the property since the early 1980’s.  The Duncan family runs both the farm and Tea Garden and visitors are welcome to chat to them about growing organic food.

All dishes served in the Tea Garden use organic ingredients as much as possible.  Dishes are prepared while guests wait, instead of re-heating frozen dishes in a microwave.  Although this method may take a little longer than conventional restaurants, it adds to the ambiance of the farm.  This is true country living – relax and enjoy the slower pace, browse through the exclusive fabric painting products and collectibles in the shop, take a tour of the garden, read the health information provided or have chat to the locals.
