Birding with Bob

Bob has thirty-five years birding experience throughout eastern and central Africa, plus sorties into Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, Somalia, and South Africa. Based in Livingstone, near the Victoria Falls, Bob offers entirely personalised bird-watching camping safaris, giving the advantage of freedom and mobility. Fixed itineraries can also be planned ahead to use lodges for greater comfort, or a mixture of both.

The Landrover is fitted with a fridge to keep food fresh and drinks cool. For camping trips, Cuba, the assistant is in charge of setting camp, cooking, and guarding. All camping gear is provided.  Cuba is also trained in identifying birds and has sharp eyes.   Bob’s trips are entirely self-sufficient and can go anywhere you like for as long as you like.

Up to four people can be taken per tour. One would expect some 3 – 4,000km to be covered in a three week safari.
