Bergville Caravan Park

The Bergville Caravan Park is situated at the foothills of the Drakensberg and on the banks of the Thukela (Tugela) River.

Numerous hiking trails can be found at:

• Cathkin Park;
• Cathedral Peak;
• Champagne Castle;
• Oliviershoek;
• Royal National Park; and
• Mount-aux-Sources.

Various historical monuments are within a radius of 55km.

The park has fully equipped chalets and park homes that are reasonably priced, making it ideal for backpacker accommodation. Caravan and camping sites are also available.

The park also has a trampoline, swimming pool, tennis courts and a bowling green. The park’s boundary, the Thukela River, is ideal for canoeing and fishing.
