African Art Centre

William used to be fisherman, but has been painting since an early age. Upon his return from the Copperbelt in 1981, he decided to take up painting seriously.

He started the art centre in 2004 and it displays his and other local artists’ work. It is not easy to work in the harsh conditions he lives in however, with dust and lack of equipment being his biggest problems.
