The Galg/Boesmanskloof Accommodation

This accommodation is located on the McGregor side of the Riviersonderend Mountains near the start of the Boesmanskloof hiking trail. 

Various types of accommodation are available for visitors – the ideal overnight venue for hikers on the trail.

The double storey stonehouse, Eagle's Nest, offers self-catering accommodation.  It has four bedrooms each with its own shower and toilet.  There is three double and three single beds.  The house also has a big kitchen with all the essentials such as microwave, fridge, kettel and toaster.

*The tarriff is R100 per person with a minimum of R500/night.

'Klipstoor' and the small houses can accommodate between 7-16 guests each.  Groups of 60 can easily be accommodated and is ideal for church or school camp.

Grocery purchases can also be done by Ruth on behalf of the hikers before they arrive at their accommodation.  The cost is 15% of the total value of the groceries purchased.  Guests must send their shopping list to Ruth Thursday mornings before 10:00 to ensure that everything is in place prior to arrival.

Firewood is also available, but must be ordered before arrival.

Guests can cool off in the rock pools in the nearby kloof or simply enjoy a swim in one of the two pools on the property.
