Rainbow River Lodge
Facilities and activities available include:
- 20 Semi luxury chalets with an en-suite bathroom, roof fans, two ¾ beds with mossy nets. All furniture is handmade from local wood;
- Restaurant deck and bar over the river;
- Swimming pool;
- 20 Campsites with braai (barbeque) facilities, electric plugs and lights. Four ablution blocks serve the campsites;
- Game drives to Mahango Game Park;
- Early morning and afternoon hippo and sundowner boat trips; and
- Village walks and Bushman visits can be arranged on request.
Directions
From Rundu take the B8 road, turn right towards Botswana (C48/D 3403). Rainbow River Lodge is situated 7km from Divundu on the left hand side.
From Shikawe turn left towards Namibia (C48/D3403). They are approximately 14km from the border post on the right hand.
Reviews
We camped here for 3 nights, the toilet has never been cleaned for 3 days. We went on a Boat trip and when we had to paid the price differs from what the skipper offered us, therefore please request a price list before confirming any actvivites or accommodation as their prices increase overnight.
