Otters Den Lodge

Otter Den’s  River Lodge is accessed by crossing the Blyde River suspension bridge. The four chalets can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests.  They consist of a combination of stone/thatch/canvas structures with timber decks on stilts, overlooking the river. The central lodge area has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, sundeck, bar, braai (barbeque), plunge pool and mini-conference area.

A range of activities are available within this wilderness environment. Hiking with experienced field guides offers the opportunity to view over 110 tree species, 220 bird species including the Fish Eagle, Narina Trogon, African Finfoot and Purplecrested Lourie
