Eastgate Airport, near Hoedspruit, is situated within the Airforce Base and makes use of their runways and control towers. It is a modern, well-equipped springboard to South Africa’s premier inland holiday destination – the Valley of the Olifants. The airport is 45km from the Orpen Gate entrance to the central region of the Kruger Park, also offering access to game lodges secluded in the Klaserie, Timbavati, Balule, Thorny bush, Kapama and Sabi Sands.
